This system is at the same price level as the previous XU6.2i but has a different sonic signature.

XU6.2Ci was designed to be very musical but also have an accurate tonal balance with very good separation. It delivers a very natural sound that’s comfortable to listen to.

The cone consists of a semi-pressed paper, treated cone coupled to a 35mm hi-power voice coil. The motor is comprised of a high-power magnetic system with a copper cap & bumped backplate to allow for the maximum excursion.

The tweeter has a 28mm soft textile dome housed in a liquid-cooled neodymium motor.

Crossover components are of high quality & Feature or Phase Shift Technology.

OFF CUT SOLUTIONS Review of Xcelsus XU 6.2 Ci :

“I sampled the Xcelsus XU 6.2 Ci with the objective of putting the speaker through its paces with different genres of music , primarily being Pop, Rock, R&B, Jazz and classical. What I found is that it sounded like no other speaker I have fitted in any car before. As good as the other speakers I’ve fitted in vehicles are, the Xcelsus 6.2 Ci stands head and shoulders above the rest. I find it to be a pleasant and dynamic sounding speaker, which to me sounds closest to a home audio audiophile set up. What blows my mind is what the speaker is priced at. I think that tonality is true, very well balanced and representative in the reproduction of the original music. I also find the speaker to relay much more information than most other speakers I have fitted, including those in our custom SQ / Hi – Fidelity vehicle set ups. It is my opinion that there is nothing better in the market at this price range. I am grateful to have come across the Xcelsus product.”
